Examinations

NSB Academy, Bangalore, all examinations are conducted as per the guidelines and procedures prescribed by Bangalore University. The process involves close coordination between the college and the university to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of examinations.

Pre-Examination Procedures

Eligibility Verification: The Director and academic departments ensure that only students who meet the minimum 75% attendance requirement are permitted to apply for university examinations.

Online Application and Fee Payment: Students fill out their exam applications online through the university portal. The college verifies student details, collects the examination fees, and remits the same to Bangalore University through the official online payment system.
3.
Internal Assessment (IA) Marks: Internal Assessment marks are displayed at least one week before the commencement of theory examinations. These marks are then uploaded to the University's UUCMS Portal as per the prescribed schedule.
4.
Question Papers and Admission Tickets: Bangalore University is responsible for preparing and distributing question papers. NSB Academy ensures timely receipt and secure handling of question papers and distributes admission tickets to eligible students.

Examination Day Procedures

Admission Process and Guidelines

NSB Academy, Bangalore, admissions to the BBA and MBA programs are carried out in strict accordance with the regulations of Bangalore University and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The process emphasizes transparency, merit-based selection, and equal opportunity for all eligible applicants while ensuring academic excellence and institutional integrity.

BBA Program

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board in any stream, with a minimum aggregate as prescribed by Bangalore University.

Selection Process

Admissions are based on academic merit, performance in the personal interview, and communication skills.

Candidates must submit all relevant documents, including 10th and 12th mark sheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, and valid ID proof.
b)
Admission is confirmed only after document verification and approval by Bangalore University.
c)
Fee payment must be completed within the stipulated time to secure the seat.

Foreign and NRI students must provide an equivalency certificate as per Bangalore University norms.

MBA Program

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with the minimum aggregate percentage prescribed by AICTE and Bangalore University.

Accepted Entrance Exams

Valid test scores from CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test), or PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) are accepted.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates are invited for a personal interview and counseling session. Final selection is based on the overall profile, including academic performance, entrance test score, interview results, and aptitude for management studies.

Fee Refund Policy

As per AICTE guidelines, NSB Academy, Bangalore follows a transparent fee refund policy.

Withdrawal before commencement of course:

The entire fee collected will be refunded after deducting a processing fee of not more than ₹1,000.

Withdrawal after joining (seat filled by another candidate):

The refund will be made after deducting ₹1,000 and proportionate monthly fees or hostel rent.

Withdrawal after joining (seat remains vacant):

Only the security deposit will be refunded.

Processing Time:

The entire refund process, along with the return of original certificates, will be completed within seven days.
