“Dubai where magic happens”

My excitement for the international immersion program at NSB Academy was fulfilled with my first trip to Dubai. Our President ensured a luxurious experience, beginning with Emirates Airline. Our itinerary included visiting Global Village, SunPower Gen for an insightful industrial visit, Desert Safari, Burj Khalifa, Atlantis Palm, Dubai Frame, Ferrari World, and Masdar City, covering all seven Emirates in seven days. We also visited Star Cement by Aditya Birla Group. The experience was fantastic, and we were eager to learn and explore more. It was a lifetime opportunity, and I am grateful for it.

Thank you Sir for giving us this beautiful opportunity to immerse ourselves in an adventure in UAE. I usually think that a son of farmer never go to outside the country but, it was a memorable experience and will form a key moment in all our lives. A million thanks for enriching our lives.

The international immersion program in Dubai provided an opportunity to explore the culture and gain new perspectives. We visited famous landmarks such as Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, and the Dubai Mall, and experienced adventure through Safari. Masdar City provided a glimpse into future sustainability. An industrial visit revealed how safety and resources are managed. While breaking records, machine capacity was a concern. Overall, the program was an enriching experience, providing valuable skills and connections, and a unique insight into a different culture.

I am delighted to share that I participated in the International Immersion Program (IIP) organized by the NSB Academy, Bangalore with their partner university Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL). During the program, I attended informative sessions on various topics including the Real Life of an Entrepreneur, Types of Diversity, Ph.D. Milestones, and Social Engineering. This experience provided me with valuable insights on global business practices and allowed me to immerse myself in the rich and diverse culture of Malaysia.

Respected President Sir,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the positive transformations and enriching experiences you have brought to NSB Bangalore. Your commitment to enhancing our academic journey has not gone unnoticed, and I am particularly grateful for the recent developments that have significantly impacted our student life. I vividly recall our interaction during the first semester, where we gathered at the amphitheatre to discuss concerns about the quality and affordability of food in the canteen. Your attentive ear and proactive response resulted in a remarkable reduction in meal prices significantly improving the overall dining experience for the entire student body.

Furthermore, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your promise to facilitate an International Immersion Program (IIP) during our first semester. Many of us initially doubted the feasibility, but your determination and dedication made the seemingly impossible a reality. The opportunity to engage in real-world experiences during the early stages of our academic journey has been invaluable.

Your unexpected announcement of an industrial visit for all streams, a venture not initially included in our curriculum, took us by surprise. I must admit, I was skeptical initially, but the visit to Mumbai turned out to be an enlightening experience. Witnessing industry practices first-hand has broadened our perspectives and fuelled our passion for our respective fields.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for providing us with these opportunities. Your efforts have not only shaped our learning experiences but have also paved the way for a promising future. I look forward to more such initiatives that contribute to the holistic development of NSB Bangalore's student community.

Thank you once again for your unwavering commitment to our education and growth.

Dear AV Rao Sir,

My sincerest gratitude to you for your time, efforts and hard work that were invested in successfully delivering us this outstanding learning opportunity to showcase our potential and grow.

In merely two days, through working with Seashell Logistics we have been exposed to the actual theoretical depth of logistics. It seems we had only touched the tip of the iceberg so far in the course of MBA.

Mr. Ajay (who had been a panellist during our interview for Seashell Logistics) generously shared some really good insights and introduced some valuable concepts to me. He asked me to list all important ports in all the major (exporting) countries as well as list all ports of India from West to East. He asked me to read about the different types of containers and understand the dimensions of each type. I was also asked to read about the Hague-Visby Rules, Multimodal Transportation, Routes of waterways and some more concepts.

This journey will surely transform us as individuals and professionals. We are truly grateful for this opportunity.

Never feel old

Live the moment.

Keep patience and listen to others.

Keep dreaming and achieve it.

To sum up my experience at NSB Bangalore, it was "life changing" Since this was the first time I had come to Bangalore from my hometown, I wasn't the best of people when it came to communication & business acumen. But thanks to the wonderful faculty, especially Dr. A.V rao sir & Prof. Venkatesh sir, I was able to overcome all of my hesitation and fears and eventually came out as a well-rounded person by the time I graduated.

The highlight of my college life would be the International Immersion Program during which we visited Spain, France, Belgium & Qatar. We also had the opportunity to visit the Airbus HQ.

And lastly I would like to add a special mention to the President, Dr.Sridharamurthy sir, a true visionary. He indeed is one of a kind person and is definitely changing the faucet of Management Education in India through the innovative ways in which he is running this premier institution.

I am Pallav Pradhan, A pround NSBian from

This year I have cleared IBPS Specialist officer exam and allotted Union Bank of India as a Marketing officer. I just want to share my experience about preparation journey. We students no matter from which college we belong always complain about our college. We believe the other college is the best and the students studying there has bigger opportunities than us. I was not the exception. I used to think maybe I could get into a better college.

Till this happened!! Though the competitive exams have their own courses like quant, reasoning and English. Interview plays a very vital role in final selection as many students who scored well also failed in interviews miserably. But, I am an NSBian and I was trained very well in college. The way we should approach a question from the interviewer and the main is body language. Sir, I can tell you proudly that the BNA session saved me and helped me score highest in the interview as I scored 19/20.

I just really want to thank you again sir for all the efforts you made for all of us.

Which will always be an edge over others in our career.

"My faith is bigger than my fear"

I believe in in this to every situation life throws at me, and the catalyst who helped me challenge my weakness, my fear would be none other than my College - NSB Bangalore, My professors, my friends and family.

The journey was quite a roller coaster for the batch of 2019-2021 due to the pandemic situation we got in, but our faculty and Academics made sure to not compromise on anything but boost us to their best. Nevertheless, it indeed was a great period of learning and improving everyday right from we joined in.

Thank you so much for keeping faith in me, for constantly pushing me to the edge of my limits, for everything that I am today. I know this is just the beginning but if the beginning is so beautiful, I don't know what the end would look like.

Special Thanks to Kavitha Ma'am and placement team for constantly pushing every student to get the best out of them.

Ms. Ashwini Jadhav

It’s a dream of an every individual to travel the world or visit at least one foreign country. Likewise, even I dreamt of the same, being an explorer I like to visit new places and explore the place. In India, I have explored many places but NSB fulfilled my dream of visiting a foreign land.

We were able to learn all the sectors of MBA through this visit. But apart from the academic learning we were also exposed to the key learning of management which we extracted from the citizens of Singapore and Indonesia. The very first one is Hospitality; they always carry a smile on their face and always prefer to make their guests comfortable in all the aspects.

With beautiful memories and tremendous change I came back to my home country India with a new dream to implement these entire key learning in my life to my country.

A very big thank you to NSB, for making my dream comes true.

Mr. Wesly Pranith

Life at NSB has always been like land of opportunities and it has given me some of the fabulous family that wished for.

Opportunities in the form of clubs like Movie Club, Cultural Club, Entrepreneur Club, Photography Club etc have given us opportunity to grow and learn. It’s been like a dream journey for me.

It has an “A” class management that we can learn from and the quality of professors has been top notch. I would definitely recommend this to everyone as it has given me lot of memories both on and off campus by its trips that college took us on and I have a plenty more to learn. This college has provided me a platform to grow, learn and succeed in life..

“One who refuses to seek the advice of others will eventually be led to a path of ruin. A mentor helps you to perceive your own weaknesses and confront them with courage. The bond between mentor and protégé enables us to stay true to our chosen path until the very end.”

All qualities mentioned in the above quote are visible in the NSB inhouse as well as outhouse Faculty members in terms of their additional valuable guidance, Cooperation, and support. I heartily appreciate and thankful to all the faculty members of NSB for becoming my mentors and guiding me to develop my personality, managerial skills, and make me ready for the corporate world. I am proud to be an NSBian and integral part of NSB.

Mr. Raunak Deol

There are lots of MBA colleges in Bangalore, but MBA at NSB stands out with its distinguished uniqueness. It is a perfect platform to polish one’s skills and calibre and also nurture their talents.

We have the best faculty team (teaching and non-teaching) who provide a 360 degree support to the students, any time possible. I am always proud to say that I am a student of MBA at NSB.

When an introvert is comfortable with maximum number of people and he or she is discovering new way of life and get to know how to talk to people without feeling shy that is experience , when Sir become best friend and our classmates become family that is experience. NSB is wonderful

Mae West said, ‘ Too much of a good thing can be wonderful,’ that is what I felt here in this college. Too much of NSB proved exquisitely and exceptionally wonderful for me. At NSB, I felt like creative liberated. This college protected the flickers of curiosity, enthusiasm, and inventiveness and never smothered them in the eagerness to teach or to impress. I as a student was always challenged to go beyond my boundaries each time to establish a new milestone in the timeline of my career.

What I would like to appreciate most about NSB is that it has a genuine goal to groom world-class entrepreneurs and managers. It is really a great experience teaching at NSB. I am impressed by the vision and energy of Prof. S.R Sridharamurthy and the true meaning he gives to the word ‘education’ through the care provided to the NSB students. I can see good opportunities for NSB in the higher education sector, if the institute’s ability to forge deep and meaningful relationships with international partners materializes even further.

Excellence and Ethics are the key drivers of NSB. The vision of Prof. S.R Sridharamurthy is very clear. NSB shares the same values that we share in ESC-Pau. The student is in the center of the pedagogical process. The professors are focused to make him successful from a personal and a professional perspective in order to increase his employability. As a balanced human being, he is aware of his role towards the society and its social issues.

From my part, I really enjoy to work with all the NSB professors and I feel particularly happy to teach Indian and French students, all together in the same batch. They will be the managers of tomorrow. They will have to manage properly the 3P’s: Profit/People/Planet. I am convinced that NSB will give them the abilities, skills and competencies to succeed in our globalized world
